The iCar, Caoa Chery’s electric subcompact, is available for individual customers by subscription at Caoa Sempre, with 12, 24 and 36 months plans, as well as for those who may want to outsource their fleets at the Caoa Fleet. The monthly payment starts at R$ 3,027.25 for the three-year subscription.
“Caoa is constantly looking for new ways to meet the public’s demands and expectations through the owning or propriety experience of its vehicles”, comments Jack Nunes, executive director of the company. “In a moment of more sustainable conscience, when people value fuel economy even more, we brought the iCar for urban use, economic and environmentally correct”.
The model can also be found at the Caoa Locadora, which offers the iCar for the short term to the customer to continue his daily activities during the maintenance or scheduled service of his vehicle at a brand’s workshop at its Loja Berrini (7,554 Morumbi Ave.).
The iCar is 100% electric. Fruit of a new Chery platform, the subcompact has a body made essentially with aviation aluminum and high-resistance polymers, 20 to 30% lighter than traditional steel.
The company informs that the car got exclusive suspension and motor adaptations for the Brazilian market. The model has a 30.8 kWh battery, seven energy recovery stages, and an IP67-grade protection classification. The motor delivers a maximum output of 45 kW (61 cv) and 15.3 kgfm (150 Nm) maximum torque.
