In the first half of October, the Brazilian vehicle market kept the same pace registered in September. According to figures released by Bright Consulting, the daily average registers in the period had a slight fall to 7,188 units, compared to 7,436 in September.
The result is still over the verified in the first two weeks of August – 6,947 units a day – but under the 7,501 daily registers in October 2021. Nonetheless, Bright says the numbers for the second half of the month tend to be higher than the first, which should rise October’s results.
“We will probably have an October in 2022 better than in 2021″, asserts the consultant service, which still keeps the projection of 1.97 million units sold during the year.
Direct sales slightly fell in the first half of the month: from 47% in August and September to 45%. But Bright ponders that direct sales are stronger in the second half and should be equal to the previous months.
The consultant emphasizes that in-store sales reached 3,925 daily units in the first half of October, almost the same as in the same period last month, showing, according to Bright, “showing the economic recovery strength”.
Following what happened in September, the electrified vehicles market share is around 3%.
