Launched last August, the new HR-V line will be offered to the Brazilian market next week in all four versions. Honda began this Monday, 10/24, to deliver the New HR-V Advance and Touring, both with the unprecedented 1.5 DI VTEC Turbo Flex engine, with 177 cv and 24.5 Nm.
With suggested prices of R$ 176.8 thousand and R$ 184.5 thousand, the two new versions complement the range together with the entry version EX Sensing, costing R$ 142.5 thousand, and the EXL Sensing, for R$ 149.9 thousand.
The great novelty of the top-of-line versions arriving at the Honda dealer network is the fuel management system, now with flex-fuel technology, allowing to use ethanol and/or gasoline, pure or mixed in any proportion. All components in contact with the fuel received a special surface treatment.
The high-pressure direct injection system assures cold starts even when pure ethanol is used, without the need to pre-heat devices. It’s also exclusive of the Advance and Touring versions the connectivity platform myHonda Connect, which debuts in the new generation of the SUV.
With the new generation of the HR-V, Honda expects to recover the ground it lost in Brazil since last year. The bet on the new generation of its SUV meets the growing demand for SUVs in the country. The segment now represents more than 50% of the automobiles commercialized in Brazil.
