The Chinese GWM stopped keeping secrets about how will be the Haval H6, the first brand’s SUV in the country. Scheduled to be offered in the first half of 2023, the model will be initially imported, but in an exclusive version different from the 6o other markets where it is already sold.
According to the manufacturer, the working teams developing the vehicle for the country used information captured in polls. Although it has not released technical specifications, GMW says the Haval H6 will debut in Brazil as a plug-hybrid version.
Exclusive for the Brazilian market package are the piano black window frames, the roof racks, the rear spoiler and the 19-inch wheels design. The manufacturer also adds that the model had adjustments in the suspension for the Brazilian conditions.
Regarding safety and convenience, the Haval H6 will offer active driving resources, a multimedia center with a 12.3-inch screen with wireless connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
With the H6 debut, GWM will start its ten-launches program for the country up to 2025. Besides other Haval SUV products, the company will also offer luxury off-road Tank SUVs and Poer pickups.
In January this year, when it announced the operation in the country, GMW announced the investment of R$ 10 billion – R$ 4 billion up to 2025and the remaining between 2026 and 2032. Considered the largest Chinese private manufacturer, GMW is preparing the plant bought from Mercedes-Benz in Iracemápolis, SP, to start production in 2023.
