The automobile and light commercial vehicle market reacted slightly in the first 15 days of the month, with 71.6 thousand vehicles delivered, a volume almost 10% higher than in the same period in Octiber (65.2 thousand). With nine work days in the first two weeks, as like as in the previous month, the daily average went from 7.2 to 7.9 thousand units.
Released by a source from the automotive retail sector, the balance also shows the ranking by make and model, confirming Fiat at the first place. The Italian brand sold 17.2 thousand vehicles, with an expressive 24% shar in the period. Next was Volkswagen – 10.5 thousand and 14.6% – and General Motors – 10.3 thousand and 14.5%.

In the ranking by model, the dispute among Hyundai HB20 and Fiat Strada remains fierce. The Korean brand’s automobile sold 4,095 units, 333 more than the Strada (3.762). Year to date, both models dispute the leadership with a difference of 13,899 units favoring the Fiat pickup the registers were, respectively, 97,816 and 83,927 vehicles.
