Stellantis' Filosa and Volkswagen's Possobom are confirmed at the suppliers' yearly meeting

Important names of the Brazilian automotive industry, such as Antonio Filosa, South America Stellantis’s president, and Ciro Possobom, Volkswagen do Brasil’s COO, already confirmed their participation at the 4th Autoparts Industry Meeting, which will debate opportunities and innovation examples at the automotive manufacturers and all supply chain.
The meeting is scheduled for April 24 at the São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo, where the next day will begin Automec, Latin America’s most important autoparts fair. Besides local sector representatives, international specialists will also be at the event.
Addressing the Relevance of Investments in Innovation and Brazil’s Competitive Analysis, the opening session of the 4th Autoparts Industry Meeting will have the participation of Benjamin Krieger, general secretary of Clepa, the organization that represents European autoparts manufacturers, and Antonio Megale, former Anfavea president, former Volkswagen director, and member of the council of the Brazilian Association of Automotive Engineering. Sindipeças’s president, Claudio Sahad, will mediate the debate.
The expectation for this year is to repeat or even overcome the number of participants in previous editions, which had more than 35 speakers and a public of over 1.5 thousand. Filosa and Possobom will talk about the experience of the car manufacturers in innovation in a debate mediated by Gábor Deák, Sindipeças’ Technology director.
Other speakers will be Claudio Sahad, president and CEO of Bosch in Latin America. Sérgio Carvalho, Empresas Randon’s CEO and Fras-le’s president, and Selco Tecnologia e Indústria’s CEO, André Silva. Felipe Fava, McKinsey & Company’s partner, and Everton Lopes, responsible for Mahle Metal Leve’s South America’s Tech Center, are also panelists.
