It’s said that a winning team should not be changed, but Fiat decided to contradict this popular saying and announced package changes in different versions of the market leader Strada, with price reductions that reach up to R$ 5 thousand for the Volcano, which now costs R$ 110,990 with manual transmission or R$ 117,990 for the automatic version.

The manufacturer says there were content adequations to meet the market demand, with changes in the optional items packages. In some cases, such as the Freedom, some items no longer are standard, and in others, such as the Endurance, the optional items list wasn’t changed.

According to a Fiat note released this Wednesday, 3/8, the double-cabin Freedom had the price reduced from R$ 111,990 to R$ 108,990, an R$ 3 thousand discount, and the top-of-line Ranch is now costing R$ 125,990, R$ 2 thousand less. The Freedom Cabine Plus price reduction was similar, and it now costs R$ 108,990. The new price of the entry version, Endurance Cabine Plus, is R$ 97.990.

The brand aims to gain market when sales are slow due to high interest and credit restrictions. Fiat Strada was the 2022 automobile and light commercial vehicles sector leader, such as in February this year. In January, the Hyundai H20 was at the top of the ranking.

For the Endurance version, the Comfort pack, which costs R$ 1,750, includes power windows and door locks, brake light, electric fuel cap control, electric cargo bed lock and alarm. The Freedom gained the Design Tech package, with 15″ light alloy wheels and rear parking sensor, for R$ 2,100.

The manual transmission Volcano now has the Plus additional pack, with rearview camera, leather seats, automatic digital air-conditioning and wireless charger, for R$ 3.500. The automatic Volcano’s package also carries a central armrest for R$ 3,000.
