Suspensys, Empresas Randon’s axle and suspension system manufacturer, is strengthening its position as electromobility supplier inaugurating a segment dedicated production unit.
The factory received a R$ 60 million investment and, according to the company, is an unprecedented facility in Latin America for electrified products for the transport segment.
Installed at the company’s headquarters area in Caxias do Sul, RS, Suspensys E-Mobility will assemble and produce batteries and provide structure to manufacture the e-Sys, an axle with an auxiliary electric drive system for road implements.
According to the company, the unit will assist light and commercial vehicles, and agricultural and industrial implements segments with exclusive projects. It also emphasizes, as a national manufacturer, the advantage of reducing development time and count on its own resources and technologies.
“The way we structured this plant we will able to assist all kinds of customers, as manufacturers and vehicle assemblers, even with customized electronics projects and battery management”, said Eduardo Dalla Nora, responsible for Empresas Randon’s suspension and electromobility area and Suspensys director.
