On one side stands a company wanting to provide its employees with efficient and safe transportation. On the other, a qualified fleet operator to provide the service. In-between, Fretadão, which not only unites the interests, but also develops and manages the operation.
Born in 2015 as a startup and fomented by three R$ 1 million investments from 2018 to 2020, Fretadão operates managing shared transportation. Based on the companies’ and passengers’ needs, the platform uses technology to design routes, dimension the fleet, share itineraries with other companies and choose the transport operator.
“It is a full solution supported by partner transporters with homologated vehicles, strengthen safety”, explains Luís Henrique Diogo, Fretadão’s marketing annalist. “At the same time, it also contributes to the transportation companies’ growth.”
Real-time fleet monitoring
Certified by ISO 39001 for road safety management, Fretadão uses telemetry to monitor the vehicles in real-time. Like the usual tracking systems, the tool delivers the management team information about driving, such as occasional speeding. The data helps in drivers’ conscientization actions for safer driving.
“The telemetry has secured more safety for passengers. We were able to practically eliminate speeding and reduce accidents by up to 50%”, tells Gustavo Silva, Fretadão’s safety engineer.
Currently, about 900 vehicles are managed by the platform, providing services to 90 companies of all sizes in 16 states, carrying more than 26 thousand passengers daily.
