New Holland Agriculture is launching the TL5 Acessível, the first agriculture tractor for lower-member disabled operators. Produced at the plant in Curitiba, PR, it was based on the 80, 90 and 100 cv TL5 versions.
The CNH Industrial brand presented a concept accessible tractor in 2020, about one year after beginning to develop it with Elevittá, an inclusive mobility company, and the Senai from São Leopoldo, RS.
The machine can be used for diverse applications such as soil preparation, seeding, fertilizer application, small-farm harvest, silage, mowing, spraying, frontal charge and general services.
“It will enable to eliminate barriers that currently impede many farmers from operating a machine”, said Eduardo Kerbauy, New Holland Agriculture’s vice president for Latin America.
The access system has a joystick-operated platform and can be adapted to all TL5 products made since 2019.
The TL5 Acessível can be purchased through a financing line previewed by the Rota 2030 program, with most of the investment made by the government to support and incentive innovation projects. The CNH Industrial Bank also offers attractive buying conditions.
New Holland Agriculture remembers that the 2019 National Health Research (Pesquisa Nacional de Saúde – PNS) shows that, in Brazil, 17.3 million people two or more years-old present some physical disability – 7.8 million in lower limbs and 2.9 million living in rural homes.
