GWM will have 37 distribution centers in Brazil

Inventories will be close to dealerships to ease delivery

GWM is taking an unprecedented move in the Brazilian market to speed delivery to the final consumer. The brand will have regional distribution centers close to its dealers. There will be 37 centers by the end of the year.

As the Chinese brands work with direct sales – the invoice is issued by the manufacturer instead of by the dealership – all cars that arrive by the port of Vitória, ES, used to stay at the plant’s parking lot, demanding time to be sent to the customer.

At the announcement of the record sale of 1,452 Haval H6 in August, the brand’s commercial director, Oswaldo Ramos, detailed the projects to expand the dealer net and the distribution centers that will operate as GWM’s branches:

“There will be two or three centers in the Southern states, seven in the Southeast and at least one in each Northeastern capital. The goal is to deliver the vehicles within 24 hours. Licensing time depends on the place, but product availability will be immediate.

Thirty-two full dealerships were already inaugurated, including workshops, and 18 more are being built. Besides this, we continue keeping sales points in shopping malls countrywide”, asserted the executive, who said next year’s goal is to reach 133 dealerships.

Ramos commented that Brazilian sales figures are above any initial company’s expectation and assured the country is a priority for the headquarters, and all orders from here will be shipped immediately. From April through now, 5.1 thousand units of the brand’s SUV were sold and delivered.

Besides the Haval H6 lineup, which includes plug-in and self-charging versions, GWM is beginning to sell the 100% electric Ora 03. Among the brand’s differentials are the single price countrywide and the direct sales system.
