Ford confirmed the launch of the Ranger Raptor in Brazil this year. The announcement was made by Daniel Justo, Ford South America’s president, at the Detroit Autoshow.
The Raptor is the sportier pickup in Ford’s lineup and will be the most powerful offered in Brazil. It has off-road capability, and the 3.0 V6 gasoline engine has 400 cv and 59.5 kgfm.
The new-generation versions XLS, XLT and Limited are equipped with a 3.0 V6 turbodiesel with 250 cv and 61.2 kgfm. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic.
