Limited to just one thousand units, the 2024 Kicks XPlay special series arrives this week at the brand’s dealer net. The suggested price is R$ 140,490, between the Advance (R$ 133 thousand) and Exclusive (R$ 146,790) versions.
This is the sixth special series of the SUV launched in Brazil in 2016 and produced in Resende, RJ, since 2017. The brand’s performance this year has been over the market’s average, with 44.8 thousand vehicles delivered, a 21% increase over the same period in 2022 (36.9 thousand). The market share went from 3% to 3.3%.
Nissan’s special series’ focus for the Brazilian market is to offer a differentiated product “for those who want something more”, in the words of Maurício Greco, the manufacturer’s Marketing director in Brazil. These editions are normally limited and numbered.
The 2024 Kicks XPlay has an unprecedented color combination, uniting the black body to a roof painted Malbec Red, such as the external mirrors, door sills and front bumper.
The “XPlay” signature is on the doors’ sill, over the rear license plate and on the front seats. On the roof, the highlight is the sporty spoiler, designed specially for this version. 17-inch glossy black wheels complement the car’s sporty style.
Inside, the special version presents red details in the air outlets, steering wheel, dashboard double stitches, matts, armrest and seats, which are covered with synthetic grey fabric.
The third edition of the Nissan Kicks XPlay also carries features such as wireless cellphone charger, eight-inch touchscreen multimedia, rear camera, engine start button, seven-inch high-definition instrument display and remote door and windows control.
