Based on performance, quality and operational excellence over 2022, Stellantis honored last week 40 of its best suppliers from all regions where it operates. In its third edition, the event was joined by more than 150 executives from the automotive chain and the main leaders of the multi-brand vehicle manufacturer.

The group chose the best of each of the 16 categories, including parts and post-market services, direct materials, indirect services and regional performance, as well as the best of each region. F2J Industry was elected the best in South America.

“We sincerely congratulate the “Supplier of the Year” winners, whose commitment and impeccable standards helped us to face challenges and reach new levels”, said Maxime Picat, Stellantis’ Chief Purchasing and Supply Chain Officer.

According to the executive, the collaboration spirit and the punctual delivery of parts and services were fundamental to the company’s global achievements. The selection of the best was done by Stellantis’s multifunctional leadership teams, which evaluated criteria such as innovation, cost, program launching and safety, and the focus on the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan.

The plan intends to achieve 100% of passenger automobiles in Europe to be BEVs and 50% of passenger cars and light trucks in the USA and also aims to reduce costs and complexity by 40%.

“Those aims are the main focus of our purchase team and the supply chain, as Stellantis strives to provide clean, safe and affordable mobility for all”, said the company.
