Present in the powertrain of a wide customer portfolio, especially in Iveco Group’s vehicles and CNH Industrial’s machines, FPT participates at the Fenatran at the São Paulo Expo center with sustainable propositions and solutions connecting decarbonization to a commitment to the circular economy.
The manufacturer brought to the event the offer of remanufactured engines and, therefore, the possibility of expanding the component lifespan with a more competitive cost-benefit.
“The Original Reman has a complete lineup of engines for light, medium and heavy vehicles, offered from functional units, ready to use, to long and short block kits”, told Isabela Costa, FPT Latin America’s parts sales and marketing director in a presentation at Fenatran.
The range includes engines for trucks and buses models F1A, F1C, N67 and Cursor 14. The company ensures these options will provide a TCO (total cost of ownership) reduction through a lower operational cost, besides offering performance similar to a new engine.
For short to medium term, the brand presents the XC13 concept, more mature. Presented a few years ago, the engine has a multi-energy proposal – it was created to enable diverse fuels, from diesel to gas and even hydrogen. The idea is to offer diverse versions in a single platform using a maximum of common components.
